20 YEARS OF CARIBBEAN VIBES

A MESSAGE FROM
DWAYNE HINES
Founder & CEO, Palm Nations
Twenty years ago, in 2005, I walked away from a career with the bank, driven by a single conviction: that Caribbean culture deserved a bigger stage and a global embrace. I wasn’t chasing trends or titles. I was chasing purpose.
At the time, I saw a gap—a disconnect between how powerful, layered, and joyful our culture is and how often it was reduced to a moment, a stereotype, or a side stage. I wanted to build something that wasn’t just about events or entertainment, but about belonging. About giving our music, fashion, language, and icons the reverence and reach they’ve always deserved. I wanted every person in the diaspora—from Kingston to Toronto to London to Lagos—to see themselves in the spotlight.
There have been triumphs, and there have been trials. Some louder than others. But through it all, I’ve held onto the why. I’ve been blessed to build this with a team that shares the vision, a family that grounds me, and a faith that reminds me daily: to whom much is given, much is required.
So today, as I mark 20 years in the business, I give thanks—first and always—to God. And to every artist, partner, supporter, critic, and culture bearer who showed up, stood with us, or challenged us to do better: thank you. You are part of this legacy.
We didn’t just host events. We shaped moments. We gave voice to generations. And we’re just getting started.
With love, gratitude, and vision,
Dwayne Hines

TO
THE
"BADDIES "

A special thank you

A MESSAGE FROM
PALM NATIONS INC.
To the ones who never missed a moment, never dimmed their light, and never came without a fit—this is for you.
You showed up in full glam and full confidence, transforming every Palm Nations event into a runway, a statement, and a movement. You brought inescapable energy and undeniable presence—and became the unofficial face of our stages, our stories, and our success.
As Palm Nations hits its 20th anniversary since kicking off in 2005, we’ve got to give a massive shoutout to you, the "Baddies"! These queens have rocked our brand and kept us thriving throughout this festival journey. Seriously, we couldn’t have made it 20 years without them lighting up the Caribbean diaspora scene.
Big love to our Baddies!
Bottoms up,
Palm Nations
